Clerkenwell Communications, the financial PR agency launched last

month by John Coyle (PR Week, 12 March), has acquired executive training

company Raymond Rudd Consultants (RRC).

RRC was one of the first businesses Coyle purchased for Broad Street

after founding the agency with former partner Brian Basham in 1981.

Rudd himself joins the Clerkenwell Communications team as head of

executive training. RRC offers courses in broadcast media training

including presentation, time management and general communications

skills.

Raymond Rudd clients include M&C Saatchi, British Gas Transco, the Bank

of England, London Electricity, BBC Television and Andersen

Consulting.

’Ray has an attractive client list and we will be looking to

client-share between the businesses,’ said Emma Kane, managing director

of Clerkenwell Communications.

RRC will continue to operate under its current name because of the

reputation it has within the industry, she added.

Clients already signed up with Clerkenwell Communications include

restaurant Le Gavroche, Barclays Stockbrokers and biotechnology company

KS Biomedix.
