PUBLIC SECTOR: NHS best practice body seeks comms director

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence, which was launched by the Government last month to promote best practice in the NHS, is seeking a pounds 65,000 per annum communications director. The new position will report to the institute’s chief executive and be tasked with developing a PR strategy and building up an in-house team. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence is responsible for appraising new and existing health technologies including medicines, and developing clinical guidelines.

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence, which was launched

The communications director will ensure the institute’s guidance is

accessible to doctors and patients.
