Charles Barker BSMG chief executive Tim Sutton is stepping up to

replace Angela Heylin as UK board chairman of the agency.

Heylin, who was a non-executive chairman and a founding director of the

agency, is becoming a life long president of the firm.

Sutton will be an executive chairman and will lead the agency’s European

expansion in the new role of chief executive of BSMG Europe. Managing

director Nan Williams becomes UK chief executive.

Williams will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of

Charles Barker’s UK operation, reporting to Sutton.

Williams will be replaced by two joint managing directors, Pamela

Fieldhouse and Ray Eglington, who joins from Countrywide Porter Novelli.

Fieldhouse is currently the agency’s business-to-business and technology

practice head, while Eglington will become head of corporate and public

affairs affairs. Fieldhouse and Eglington will be Williams’

deputies.

As a result of the management changes, former corporate affairs practice

head James Hunt has left Charles Barker for Ketchum, where he will be a

director.
