Border Lines: PARIS - Le Monde names first comms head

French national newspaper Le Monde has appointed Christine Vos as its first head of communications in a bid to attract new readers. Reporting to the newspaper’s deputy director Anne Chaussebourg, Vos will organise and promote Le Monde’s links with events, such as the Cannes Film Festival. She has worked for the paper since 1970, most recently as deputy arts editor. Vos will work with a team of four, including press officer Anne Hartenstein.
