Red Rooster PR has picked up its first contract from Nestle, to
relaunch the company’s Sweetened Condensed Milk.
The agency won the four- month project following a competitive pitch,
and is now devising a roadshow which will visit five cities between
September and November.
As part of the roadshow, TV chef James Martin - of Ready Steady Cook -
will lead cookery demonstrations involving condensed milk as an
’He’s young and sexy and we’re trying to give it a young and sexy
image,’ said Giles Hirst, account manager at Red Rooster.
Nestle is putting pounds 500,000 into the relaunch, which will also
involve an advertising campaign in women’s magazines and a redesign of
The agency will also aim to increase press coverage of the brand.
Other PR agencies on Nestle UK’s roster are the Impact Agency,
Wiggmoore, Shandwick Welbeck and Noyes and Young PR.
