Electrical retail chain Dixons has brought in Band and Brown to
promote its 60th anniversary celebrations.
The pounds 100,000 budget account includes media relations, promotions
and celebrity events. Store managers will be provided with a special
media pack to give them guidance on handling local press.
The campaign will include special deals across all product areas
throughout June and July. Band and Brown was appointed to handle the
three month project after a three-way pitch.

The corporate affairs department, which is responsible for Dixons,
Currys, PC World and The Link, is currently looking to expand the team
and appoint a third corporate affairs manager.
