BORDER LINES: LONDON: Visa CEMEA role goes to Wood

Visa International has recruited a new head of external communications for its Central Europe, Middle East and Africa region (CEMEA). Fleishman-Hillard account director James Wood joins on February 22 and will replace Lucy Bate who moves to the new post of internal communications head within the region. Wood will be based in London and will report to Visa’s CEMEA head of corporate communications Caris Watson. He will look after the seven PR agencies that handle Visa’s accounts in the 15 key countries that require the most press attention in the region. At F-H, Wood handles clients including management consultancy AT Kearney.
