Beattie sets up an Aberdeen office to handle Walkers

Scottish media relations specialist Beattie Media has opened an office in Aberdeen to serve Walkers Shortbread. It won the account to handle the company’s trade and consumer media relations at the start of the year.

Scottish media relations specialist Beattie Media has opened an

office in Aberdeen to serve Walkers Shortbread. It won the account to

handle the company’s trade and consumer media relations at the start of

the year.



Beattie managing director Gordon Beattie said: ’This is our third new

office in 12 months and a major step forward for the company.’



Headquartered in Uddingston, Beattie employs 70 people and has offices

in Edinburgh, Dundee, London, and in the last year has added Melbourne

and Leeds.



Freelance broadcaster and journalist Alison Shaw will head the office as

account director. Shaw spent 14 years at the Aberdeen Evening

Express.



During the last year she has produced programmes on politics, gardening

and religion for Grampian Television.
