PUBLIC SECTOR: Davidge leaves Macmillan Cancer Relief

Macmillan Cancer Relief, the national charity that provides nurses for the care and treatment of cancer patients, is to lose its head of PR. Carolan Davidge is leaving Macmillan in March, after two-and-a-half years, to take on a new, as yet unannounced, job. Her replacement will head up a team of five national press officers and one regional officer based in York. The team was a finalist in last year’s PR Week Awards for its Lung Cancer campaign.
