Schering hands its contraceptive work to Shire Hall

Schering Health Care has hired Shire Hall Communications to promote its leading range of contraceptives.

its leading range of contraceptives.



Work started this month on the trade account, which was won following a

five-way pitch against Cohn and Wolfe and Hill and Knowlton.



Schering Health Care is the UK’s market leader for contraceptive

products.



The agency will work with hospitals as well as organisations and

charities involved in birth control.



Shire Hall will work on the company’s range of treatments which include

Mirena, an intrauterine treatment, emergency treatment PC4 and Dianette,

which is an acne treatment with contraceptive benefits.



Shire Hall account director Fiona Hall said: ’The field of hormonal

contraception is a dynamic one. We will work with Schering to meet the

needs of healthcare professionals and consumers alike.’
