WPP takes stake in roadshow firm

WPP has taken a 49 per cent stake in specialist roadshow consultancy International Presentations. The agency organises roadshows to promote privatisations and flotations. Companies it has worked for include Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Goldman Sachs and Warburg Dillon Read. WPP has an option to acquire a majority share of International Presentation from January 2003.
