BORDER LINES: MADRID - Llorente y Cuenca lands NH Hoteles

Spain’s second largest hotel group, NH Hoteles, has appointed Llorente y Cuenca to handle consumer and trade PR. The agency won the account after a competitive pitch, replacing incumbent SCR Relaciones Publicas, which will continue to handle the group’s financial PR. ’We will focus on developing the business, targeting clients and the trade,’ said Llorente and Cuenca founder Jose Antonio Llorente. NH Hoteles runs 77 hotels in 35 cities in Spain. Earlier this year, the group bought nine hotels in Argentina, which it is currently renovating. When the hotels reopen next year, Llorente and Cuenca, which has an office in Buenos Aires, will promote them locally.
