Internet service provider LineOne has appointed hi-tech start-up

agency Prodigy PR to handle its consumer and business-to-business

PR.

The account is Prodigy’s first win. The agency replaces incumbent

Powerhouse without a pitch.

Powerhouse worked on the contract for 15 months, which came to an end

after LineOne co-founder News International pulled out to form its own

independent internet division. LineOne’s remaining backers, United News

and Media and BT, have since jointly invested pounds 12 million to

secure the ISP’s future.

Prodigy was launched last month by former Harvard employees Mark Casey,

Rod de St Croix and Emma Warren.

’We will be carrying out a trade and consumer campaign focusing on

LineOne’s value-added content,’ said Casey.

Prodigy has a staff of five including the three co-founders.
