Technology: PhotoBox remodels PR

PhotoBox, the online photo sharing, storing and printing service, has embarked on a major marketing overhaul after ditching retained PR agency Speed Communications.

The account was held by Speed for two years but taken in-house at the end of Sep-tember, after the agency repitched for the business.

This week, it emerged that ten in-house posts have been created, including a new head of PR and community role.

A spokeswoman for PhotoBox said: 'We feel we can handle the account ourselves.' Speed MD Stephen Waddington said: 'PhotoBox cut its budget in the middle of this year before it gave us notice.'
