1. Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium has hired Liverpool-based Paver Smith to handle its PR. According to the agency: 'What some people might not expect is the level of sophistication on offer.' Apparently the track's chef used to work at The Savoy. To illustrate this sophisticated food, it sent a picture of a greyhound eating an ice cream.

2. According to Donna Air, looking good is not about genetics or regular exercise. Instead, it is about organic milk - well, food and drink choices. The ex-Byker Grove star is to front a new campaign from the Organic Milk Suppliers Cooperative to get women to 'think about inner beauty as the most important way to look good on the outside'. 3. First Central Perk, the cafe in TV show Friends, came to London. Now New York's Lower East Side has arrived. PR agency Sister has been handling media for the 'transatlantic fashion swap' between the Newburgh Quarter in Carnaby and New York. Visit 'New York' throughout October.
