Flack: Chaos at USP Content

There was chaos at broadcast agency USP Content last week when Peter Andre rocked up to interview Shakira at the USP studios. According to USP's digital director Pam Sharpless-Lyddon (pictured with Andre), the team was so excited to see Andre that Shakira was completely overlooked.

Meanwhile, Pam's supportive 'Team Andre' T-shirt went down so well that she was invited to appear on Andre's reality show ... Edelman made serious preparations for a PRWeek visit to the agency's plush Victoria offices last week. One loose-lipped Edelman wag revealed a member of the senior team sent out an email to all before PRWeek got there, warning everyone to remove confidential documents from their desks. So that's why we didn't uncover any scandals ... Watch out for things that go twump in the night - Deliberate PR has launched a 'Tweance' for Angels Fancy Dress. This is, apparently, a 'Twitter seance' that will try to contact dead celebs such as Michael Jackson. The things some people do to fill the time ... Flack had fun at Julia Hobsbawm's inaugural Comment Awards early on Tuesday morning. Host Peter York was sporting a tux, which he claimed he had kept on from an all-night party. This story gained credence as his spiel became gradually more erratic and amusing, insulting everything from AA Gill's novels to the small county of Rutland.
