The specialist financial services agency won the account via a competitive pitch process. Ten agencies submitted paper proposals, before being whittled down to a short-list of four for the pitch itself.

Richard Miles, director of corporate communications said: ‘Working together with the in-house team, Quill PR will help us continue to build our profile in not only key trade publications, but also national newspapers, with a specific focus on the personal finance sections.'

Quill PR MD Fiona Harris and director Eleanor Mitchell will lead the account.

M&G Investments, a subsidiary of Prudential, looks after over 350,000 investors and has £150bn assets under management, making it one of the country's largest active investors.
