Superdrug’s first head of corporate affairs Angie Moxham is to return to

agency life after just two months in the job.

Moxham will leave the chemist chain at the end of next week to accept

the upgraded post of managing director at her former employer Le Fevre

Williamson.

The former associate director at the Oxford-based PR agency was poached

by Superdrug’s marketing director Steven Round in June.

Moxham’s brief was to create pro-active brand awareness-raising

campaigns, handle relations with the City and build the in-house team.

The appointment of a PR manager to undertake most of the media relations

work and an internal PR manager is at the shortlist stage.

Moxham was lured back to Le Fevre with an offer of a stake in the

company by its founder Joy Le Fevre who will become chairman.

‘I am really enjoying it at Superdrug but Le Fevre is a bloody good PR

agency,’ said Moxham. ‘I wanted to be at the helm with Joy.’
