Manning Selvage and Lee’s London Marathon team has had some unusual

help in its bid to raise pounds 8,000 for charity.

Claire Spencer, Will Spiers and James Threapleton will be running in the

event next week to raise money for Help the Aged and MS&L client the

British Heart Foundation.

To support them, MS&L’s aptly-named events team, Bondage, organised a

bring-and-buy sale involving sister companies DMB&B and IMP and office

neighbours, PA Consulting.

In addition to the CD, book, toy and food stands, Bondage members had

also managed to source an entire stand devoted to sex aids.

You know the kind of thing - edible underwear, inflatable sheep and the

like.

’I’m not quite sure who was buying them, but the underwear and sheep

went pretty quickly,’ reveals Spencer.

Bondage has now begun to organise the next fundraising event, an

inter-company quiz night.

Contestants are said to be swatting up on their knowledge of masochistic

activities ... such as marathon running.
