BORDER LINES: DUBLIN - BBC’s Fleming joins Bank of Ireland

BBC broadcaster Diarmaid Fleming has joined the Bank of Ireland group as media relations manager. Based at the firm’s Dublin head office, Fleming replaces Eilis O’Brien, who left at the end of 1998 to join the Irish Food Safety Authority as its communications, training and education head (PR Week, 8 January). Fleming will report directly to group public affairs head David Holden. Fleming joined the Bank of Ireland last month, having worked on the BBC’s Business Breakfast and Working Lunch.
