High street lingerie retailer La Senza has appointed 3G

Communications to raise the brand’s profile.

Work starts this week on the consumer account, which is believed to

carry fees of up to pounds 100,000 and was won following a four-way

pitch. Incumbent agency PR in Fashion did not repitch.

3G has been briefed to raise the brand’s identity through high profile

media coverage, initially tabloid and then broadsheet, as well as events

and customer promotions.

Events will include fashion shows and customer promotions will be held

on a regional basis raising the profile of local stores.

La Senza group marketing controller Sue Dover said: ’We were looking for

an agency that would help us create a brand identity consumers can

relate to.’

3G will be tasked with finding a celebrity to be the ’face’ for the

brand in its bid to influence the target audience of 15- to 30-year-old

women.
