PUBLIC SECTOR: National training organ creates PRO post

The newly-launched national Training Organisation for the Personal Social Services (TOPPS) has created a press and PR officer post to strengthen its communications within England. The post, as yet unfilled, will report to Leeds-based TOPPS manager for England, Andrea Rowe. The officer will work to support and improve communication between the organisation and service users, the private sector and the Local Government Association.

The newly-launched national Training Organisation for the Personal

Social Services (TOPPS) has created a press and PR officer post to

strengthen its communications within England. The post, as yet unfilled,

will report to Leeds-based TOPPS manager for England, Andrea Rowe. The

officer will work to support and improve communication between the

organisation and service users, the private sector and the Local

Government Association.



TOPPS is one of around 70 independent, employer-led organisations set up

by the Department for Education and Employment to improve education and

training in the workplace.
