PUBLIC SECTOR: Gamble moves to beef up PR at the RIIA

The new director of the Royal Institute of International Affairs is to revamp her communications team with two new communications posts. Chris Gamble, who joined in December last year, plans to appoint a press and PR officer who will report to the director’s executive secretary, a role which has yet to be filled. The PR officer’s brief will be to raise the institute’s profile in the press and foster good relations with Government bodies, blue chip organisations and potential funders. The director’s executive secretary will report directly to Gamble.
