The new Grayling will be led by the current chairman Vivien Hepworth and Trimedia UK CEO Loretta Tobin. The pair will take the roles of chairman of the UK public relations and public affairs businesses, and CEO of UK public relations, respectively.

Lord Chadlington will take the role of group chairman, Nigel Kennedy will be deputy chairman and Michael Murphy will take the role of group CEO, taking responsibility for growth plans in the US.

Head of Grayling UK PR James Acheson-Gray has been appointed as managing director, international business.

Mmd CFO Rav Singh has been appointed COO of the new company.

Murphy said that the UK senior management was now in place, although some work was still being done on the US team. Murphy insisted that there would be no redundancies from Grayling, Trimedia or Mmd.

He said: ‘These changes bring together a top team from all three companies. This merger is about capitalising on an opportunity to create a truly international culture which will set us apart.'
