Monk quits MacLaurin for place in the Sun

Former Express deputy editor Ian Monk is to leave his job as a director at MacLaurin Communications, to become assistant editor on the Sun newspaper.

Former Express deputy editor Ian Monk is to leave his job as a

director at MacLaurin Communications, to become assistant editor on the

Sun newspaper.



Monk joined MacLaurin in June last year after leaving the Express.

Agency managing director Brian MacLaurin said Monk’s appointment was

always planned to be short-term. Monk will be number three at the Sun

and take responsibility for features and promotions.
