NEWS: EMC adds to its ADL portfolio with UK account win

Management consultancy Arthur D Little (ADL) has switched its UK PR account from GCI to EMC Euro PR and Marketing, making the agency its sole PR representative in Europe.

Management consultancy Arthur D Little (ADL) has switched its UK PR

account from GCI to EMC Euro PR and Marketing, making the agency its

sole PR representative in Europe.

EMC’s appointment follows a similar change-over in February, when GCI

lost ADL’s estimated pounds 200,000-fee European PR contract to the

Wimbledon-based agency (PR Week, 15 March). GCI had held the business

since January 1995. EMC will now co-ordinate PR for ADL across 15

European countries.

Work will include managing relations with national and business press

and promoting the company’s international colloquia on business

management issues. EMC has also been charged with raising the profile of

Cambridge Consultants - ADL’s European technology and product

development subsidiary, based in Cambridge. The two new accounts will

net EMC around pounds 100,000 in fees.
