Bridgehouse PR has been appointed to handle public relations for all
MGM/UA Home Entertainment video titles.
The agency, which was recruited following a competitive pitch, will
handle trade and consumer media activity for around 30 titles each year,
across the rental, sale and back catalogue sectors. Forthcoming titles
include the James Bond film Goldeneye, Get Shorty, Bird Cage and
MGM/UA formerly used Warner Bros’s agencies for public relations
Phil Seeva, a Bridgehouse director, said he believed the consultancy’s
work for Omega watches, particularly over Goldeneye, where actor Pierce
Brosnan wore the brand, had brought it to MGM/UA’s attention.
