Prime Communications has been hired to handle the UK media launch of the
David Lloyd Active Care brand and its Performance range.
The agency won the business, worth around pounds 200,000, with fees of
more than pounds 100,000, after a three-way pitch to Services Direct.
The company, which makes own brand skin-care products and toiletries
including ranges for Bhs and Harrods, is producing the line under
licence to former tennis star David Lloyd.
Prime will be supporting the April press launch of the range, which is
aimed at sportsmen and women, as well as providing on-going PR and
