Who are the space barons?
Simon Appleby and Mathew Riley are the men in charge, having previously launched the book review blog bookgeeks.co.uk.

Get the tone right
Bookhugger is an online literary magazine, gaining content from participating publishers, including
Faber, John Murray and Cannongate. It also covers literary news. Bookhugger’s unique selling point is bringing numerous publishers together under one roof. Bosses say it offers exclusives and inspiration to its readers on what to read next.

Approachability
‘We are interested in news that relates to our target industry and readership. For example – stories on literary prizes, reading initiatives and unusual reading schemes,’ says Appleby. ‘It is important to understand we are not a traditional lit-blog, though.’
