BORDER LINES: LONDON: Howard leaves B-M for Edelman

Edelman PR Worldwide has poached Jonathon Howard from Burson-Marsteller and given him the role of managing director of its European technology practice. Howard was an associate director at B-M and headed the agency’s European account with management consultants Andersen Consulting. He was leader of Scope’s (now Scope Ketchum) technology team from 1993 to 1996.

Edelman PR Worldwide has poached Jonathon Howard from

Burson-Marsteller and given him the role of managing director of its

European technology practice. Howard was an associate director at B-M

and headed the agency’s European account with management consultants

Andersen Consulting. He was leader of Scope’s (now Scope Ketchum)

technology team from 1993 to 1996.



From 1996 until joining B-M earlier this year he was head of corporate

affairs at Rank Xerox for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Howard

will be based in London and report to Edelman’s new European president

Remy Ossard.
