BORDER LINES: BEIJING: Tomsett heads B-M in China

Burson-Marsteller has appointed Susan Tomsett to the new post of managing director for China. Tomsett was previously head of B-M’s office in Shanghai. She has taken on some responsibilities from Beijing manager Ian Cropper, who has left B-M to return to his native Australia after only three months in the post. Tomsett now oversees 50 staff and reports to Steve Lyons, chairman of B-M North Asia.
