Jargon PR wins SolStonePlus account.

SolStonePlus, a provider of business and tech consulting services, has appointed Jargon Public Relations as its retained UK PR agency after a competitive pitch. Jargon Public Relations will run a media relations campaign focused on b2b tech media and will highlight the work SolStonePlus is carrying out within the business intelligence community. The programme will also communicate the 26 years of experience SolStonePlus has within the industry.

Freedman International has appointed Furlong PR to a wide-ranging online brief including blogging, social media and SEO. Freedman, which specialises in global marketing services, is switching from traditional to online PR in a bid to interact more closely with its international audience of marcoms professionals, who use Freedman to design and run pan-regional brand campaigns.

picoChip, the femtocell chip specialist, has selected tech PR agency EML to run its global PR campaign. PicoChip, based in Bath, retained EML to deliver its b2b product and corporate campaigns after a four-way pitch.

Solutions, the Apple retailer, has appointed Brighton-based consultancy Indigo Cow to support the launch of a dedicated unit providing iPhone handsets and solutions to businesses. Indigo Cow directors Vicky Stoakes and Karina Aguirre will lead the account.

Parker, Wayne & Kent Public Relations is running an experiment to structure communications between journalists and PR professionals via Twitter. Hacktweets.com offers a list of private Twitter groups so journalists can ask questions and PR people can answer.
