What’s wrong with starting as you mean to go on? PR student Kerry Tate, 18, stunned the humble folk at Wakefield-based Green PR and Marketing by turning up on the first day of a fortnight work placement in a 30ft long stretch limo. To their relief, one suspects, it emerged that the motor didn’t actually belong to Kerry but to her father’s limousine hire firm and, running late for work, she had grabbed the only available vehicle. MD Andy Green tells me: ‘It took a while but we finally managed to squeeze it into the car park.’
