Medialink opens Birmingham arm

Medialink, the broadcast PR consultancy, has opened a Birmingham office and pledged to expand further across the UK.

Medialink, the broadcast PR consultancy, has opened a Birmingham

office and pledged to expand further across the UK.



The agency will be run by ex-BBC Midlands reporter and anchor Alan

Towers.



He will offer clients broadcast consultancy services and act as a

producer on video projects.



Towers has spent 25 years in the television industry. Aside from

spending nine years as a news anchor for BBC Midland he has also

presented Nationwide and Grandstand.



David Davis, senior vice-president, international, of Medialink, said he

was considering opening offices in the north of England, Scotland,

Ireland and Wales.



Medialink has also made a senior appointment at its New York corporate

headquarters.



Paul Saga, the former president of Time Warner’s New Media arm has

joined the company’s board of seven.
