Hi-tech agency Text 100 Ireland has picked up a potential pounds

100,000 in fees from software company Piercom for a pan-European PR and

marketing campaign.

Over the next year the agency will work with specialist media, IT

consultants and Piercom’s marketing agents to promote a programme which

rids computer systems of the Millennium bug.

Initially the agency will target audiences in Ireland and the UK, but

there are plans to extend the campaign out into France, Germany and

Scandinavia.

’The core of the campaign will be press relations with the computing

media,’ said general manager Carlo Crighton. The agency beat eight

competitors to win the contract.

Recent wins for Text 100 Ireland include Webfactory, a Dublin based

Internet agency, and an account with Philips for its Business

Electronics and Sound and Visions Group.
