the Daily Telegraph, in a bid to boost its European business.

Brasier joins as a director, working alongside Kevin Soady, who heads up

the international side at DR. She will continue to work part-time at the

Telegraph but will go full-time at DR by the end of the year.

Her brief is to build on DR’s European business, which is strong in

privatisation work. Brasier’s aim is to sustain the relationship with

clients post-privatisation.

’DR has a strong position on initial public offerings and I have to

translate that into ongoing relationships with the City and financial

press beyond the share sale,’ explained Brasier.

DR director Andrew Cornelius said: ’We are adding a senior resource to

international to add to the firepower and the quality of advice we are

giving to clients. They want senior level expertise and Mary knows the

European scene.’
