The UK-based international conservation charity Fauna and Flora International has appointed Ken Thompson as its first international communications officer.

The UK-based international conservation charity Fauna and Flora

International has appointed Ken Thompson as its first international

communications officer.



Thompson will report to director Mark Rose and will seek to raise the

charity’s profile, providing PR support to staff working on the

charity’s projects around the world and handling international media

relations.



Fauna and Flora was founded in 1903 and was instrumental in creating

South Africa’s Kruger National Park and saving Tanzania’s Serengeti

National Park. Before joining the charity, Thompson was senior press

officer at Channel 4 for 14 years.
