Three directors of the Weber Group Europe have left the agency to

launch a hi-tech agency called Rainier Limited.

The three directors are Stephen Waddington, Tanya Lepojevic and Steve

Earl. They will be equal partners in the new launch agency, which will

be the UK arm of US PR firm Rainier Corporation.

Waddington said: ’PR agencies entrust the bulk of client programmes to

junior staff. Our business model delivers account teams that consist

solely of experienced and senior executives.’

Massachusetts-based Rainier Corporation was founded in 1993 and its 17

staff offer PR and marketing services to clients such as computer

equipment provider Texas Instruments and telecoms services company

Sprint. Rainier is headed by president Stephen Schuster.

Rainier Limited will provide a full range of marketing services with a

focus on PR. Its directors were with Weber for around two years.

Waddington and Earl were previously at Brodeur A Plus and Lepojevic at

Citigate Technology.

Weber Group Europe managing director Greg Levendusky said of the

departures: ’It was all very amicable. We are overstaffed at account

director level and have been hiring senior people lately.’
