PUBLIC SECTOR: Bristol creates role to upgrade social services

Bristol City Council has created a PR role in its social services department to modernise its internal and external communications following the introduction of best value legislation for local government. The brief will be to carry out a top-to-toe audit of the communications structure in the social services department. The post will report to social service quality manager Ian Tennant and work closely with the press and public relations department.
