Ludgate Communications has merged its corporate, European and City
divisions into one financial PR unit in a bid to refocus its financial
The agency is also setting up loose, sector-specific teams across the
new financial unit including IT/telecoms and retail and leisure.
The new financial PR unit, to be known as Ludgate financial, will be
headed by former City PR head Reg Hoare.
Ludgate’s corporate PR team was leaderless since the departure of Neil
Garnett, who was made redundant last year, while the agency’s European
unit did not have an overall head.
In his new role, Hoare will report to Ludgate Communications CEO Robin
