Tech PR agency Skywrite to go wireless with six-figure charger brief

Skywrite has landed a six-figure retainer to promote what is being billed as the first ever wireless charger.

The Powermat can be used to charge mobile technology such as mobile phones, MP3 players and handheld consoles - without the need to plug any of them in. Manufactured by Powermat, it will be released in October, along with a portable version.

Skywrite won the account in a three-way pitch that saw the agency fight off competition from both Edelman and Brands2Life.

Emma Cohen, MD at Skywrite, said: 'Our remit is to generate significant media attention.'
