NEWS: PR EUROPE; MILAN: Agencies aim to swallow pill deal

Four contraceptive pill manufacturers are expected to decide this month which agency will handle a L1 million (pounds 391,000) campaign to raise awareness of the contraceptive pill in four Italian regions. Schering, Organon, Wyatt and Menarini saw pitches last month from Ketchum and ad agencies Lintas and B Communications for the 12-month account. Work will focus on educating women between the ages of 14 and 25 in Emilia- Romagna, Campania, Puglia and Sicily on the correct use of oral contraceptives.
