Venturi's Table combines the gourmet dining of a top London restaurant with the fun of hands-on cooking in a TV-chef style kitchen. It offers a clever way to entertain clients and journalists.

- Signature dish

We heard great things about its homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with a brown butter and sage sauce and they were true.

- Who's the boss?

Milanese cook Anna Venturi runs the centre with her daughter Letizia Tufari. Anna has been featured as an expert in Waitrose Food Illustrated, Olive and Good Housekeeping.

The Italian wine tasting is a great way to round off a session.

- What's the damage?

The events cost £135 per person + VAT, which includes private use of the kitchen, tuition, a three-course gourmet meal, half a bottle of wine per person and a recipe booklet. Venturi's Table is offering PRWeek readers 20 per cent off the total cost of a gourmet cookery event for bookings confirmed before the end of October 2009. The discount is valid for groups with a minimum of 12 people.
