BORDER LINES: BARCELONA - Lagae joins Shandwick Iberica

Former Body Shop global media and internal relations head Didier Lagae joined Shandwick’s Barcelona office last week as deputy director of the consumer division. He is also training and development director for Shandwick Iberica, which covers the agency’s four offices in Spain and Portugal, employing 90 staff between them. Lagae will work on clients including Nestle, Levi Strauss and Club Med. He will oversee a plan to give staff two hours training a week. Lagae resigned from The Body Shop last December (PR Week, 4 December 1998) as the communications department faced reorganisation.
