PARIS: Alasdair Sutherland has come to the end of his two-year

assignment as founder and acting managing director of Manning Selvage

and Lee’s Paris office and is returning to the UK.

Sutherland has appointed former Herald Communications Paris boss

Isabelle Gallemaert as his successor.

Gallemaert will report to Sutherland in his capacity as chairman of

MS&L’s Paris operation. Sutherland will take on a new strategy and

development role at MS&L in London which has yet to be formalised.

The firm’s eight-strong team in Paris will report to Gallemaert. MS&L’s

Paris office specialises in consumer, corporate and healthcare PR and

counts Procter and Gamble and Rolex West on its books.

Gallemaert founded Herald’s Paris operation in 1991, building the

agency’s staff up to 22 and overseeing client wins including Kodak.
