Shandwick’s public affairs division will target the business media and

organise events to raise Cumbria’s profile as a location for

manufacturing industry alongside its more traditional Lake District

image.

Account leader and Shandwick public affairs director Jon McLeod will

report to the Inward Investment Agency’s chief executive Jack

Stopforth.

Stopforth said: ’The brief is to attract investment. We will be

profile-raising to remind people that Cumbria is a series of significant

urban economies like Barrow and Workington.’
