NEWS: UK Time picks Lynne Franks to help with new brand strategy

UK Time, the watch giant behind the Timex brand, has appointed Lynne Franks PR as its UK agency.

Franks PR as its UK agency.



The business, believed to be worth around pounds 250,000, including

about pounds 80,000 in fees, will involve handling the company’s media

relations, supporting the development of its Timex brand and its Indiglo

night-light device, and assisting with a new brand communication

strategy.



The agency’s work will extend beyond the Timex brand, including the

Guess and Disney ranges and this year’s UK launches of Timberland and

Joe Boxer products.



Julian Henry, Lynne Franks deputy MD, said he thought the agency was

selected due to its fashion and lifestyle expertise and because UK Time

considered its creativity exciting.
