GPC gets Labour veteran Healy to join strategy arm

Healy to join its strategic communications practice.



Healy will join the agency as a senior consultant in September from

Carlton Television, where she is the current press and strategic

communications co-ordinator.



Healy previously spent 11 years in political PR, including a six-year

spell as Labour’s senior Parliamentary press officer.



Before joining Carlton in February, she worked as a special adviser to

ex-cabinet office minister Jack Cunningham and former Northern Ireland

secretary Mo Mowlam. Before the last general election, Healy worked as

Tony Blair’s press officer under Alastair Campbell.



At GPC she will report to strategic communications director Joy Johnson.
