PUBLIC SECTOR: British Waterways seeks to boost PR team

In light of John Prescott’s launch last week of a charter on the future of inland waterways, British Waterways plans to boost its media and communications team with the appointment of two new press officers. One will formulate and implement media strategies for stakeholders and covers areas such as waterside regeneration. The other will manage activities across South England. The press officers will report to media and communications manager Vanessa Wiggins.
