Yorkshire Water’s parent company Kelda has appointed start-up
financial agency Tulchan Communications to handle its restructure.
The seven-strong agency, run by ex-Brunswick partner Andrew Grant, was
hired after the resignation of incum-bent consultancy Financial

Nomura, itself involved in a bid for another rival water company.
Kelda is considering selling all its water and sewerage assets to
customers in Yorkshire, as the firm plans to split into two, forming a
mutually owned non-profit organisation and a contract operations
company. Tulchan was hired on a project basis to manage PR for this

Grant said: ’The main brief is to get regulatory or shareholder approval
for the restructuring of Kelda.’
